How to update the Motorola Xoom's firmware

The Motorola Xoom may run on the latest Android firmware (Android 3.0), but it's likely there will be updates in the future.

We show you how to update the firmware on your Motorola Xoom.

Note: We recommend you use Wi-Fi to update your Motorola Xoom as some updates can be quite large.

1. You should get an automatic notification of any new available firmware, but if you don't, head to Apps > Settings > About tablet > System updates
2. Click to download the installation
3. Your Motorola Xoom should automatically install the update, but if a dialogue box pops up asking if you want to proceed, ensure you click install.
4. The update will install and Motorola Xoom will restart.
