Still , No better CDMA+GSM phone...
It makes me sad..
Gonna buy HTC DESIRE VC

HTC Desire VC is definitely a great buy if you are looking at a stylish device with CDMA+GSM capabilities. That's true we haven't seen a lot of exciting devices in this category.

when i searched Nokia C2-03 and Nokia C2-00, both had gsm+gsm and not gsm+cdma, which one is true ?

Can anyone suggest me a reliable DUAL sim CDMA phone ?

Thanks

akagarwaal @ gmail dot com

HTC Desire VC is a good buy at Rs 14,000 + as it has dual sim and CDMA +GSM capabilities. The other good choice is Samsung Galaxy Ace duos for Rs 12,000

Lava has launched iris 458q quad core processor with 4.2 android jellybean, 8 MP camera and 4.5 inch screen in just for 8,499...its nice phone with nice features and also dual sim phone.

Hello I have one newbie Question. Can anybody let me know what is WCDMA? I have a dual sim android phone in which one of sim slots indicate WCDMA. Does that mean I can put a CDMA sim in that slot? Please let me know asap thanks a lot

you have written nokia c2-00 is available in cdma gsm ... but isn't available ... i have checked its specifications ...

@arvinda, WCDMA is short for wide-band CDMA - it is basically a 3G tech that increases data transmission rates in GSM systems. If you have a
WCDMA mobile handset - then a CDMA sim card won't work in it.

Thanks Natasha

You are most welcome Aravinda B N

this is bakwas...

Natasha,
I don't think Sony Xperia C is GSM+CDMA. From websites I searched around, it appears to be GSM+GSM. And it is still to be released and there is not even one speculative date around the launch. Can you please confirm on this ?
Please do not suggest users to buy HTC Desire VC as it is the worst phone they can own at price of 15K. Battery backup is pathetic whether you use the phone or not.

Dear Readers, I had HTC Desire VC for 2-3 months and finally had to sell it at pathetic price. I bought it in 18K but it is not even worth 8K. It only looks good from front that's it. It is the only 4in screen android phone in market (with very old android version) with CDMA+GSM capabilities so HTC is taking advantage. You will be irritated by this phone in 10 days if you have used any other android phones. Even the chinese phones perform much better.

If any major players start looking at this CDMA+GSM segment, HTC will bring down the price of this phone to either 7-8K or stop manufacturing the phone.

If Android is not your requirement, go for Samsung Prime Duos.

Please dont buy this.

Lava iris 458q is not GSM+CDMA. It GSM+GSM dual sim.

first of all Xperia C the first phone in this list is not supported by cdma. its rather dual sim with Wcdma and gsm. which means 3g gsm(wcdma) and 2g gsm. so this phone doesnt fall in this list.

the best phone in indian market which supports actually cdma and gsm same time is htc desire xc. which as 4" 800x480 pixel screen and dual core 1 Ghz processor with android ics. its easily available online to order.

Even Spice Stellar Mi-425 is not GSM+CDMA. It is also GSM+GSM... Please update your information Natasha

Hi, the Spice Stellar Mi-425 is GSM + WCDMA: http://si2imobility.com/spicem...

We have updated the info. Thanks

Thanks @VigyanAnand we have updated the list.

Thanks Devesh Kumar we have updated the list with the new handsets. The list mentioned above is a aggregation of phones that sport dual-SIM or Android/Dual-SIM capabilities - we are not promoting any of the mentioned phones to the readers, rather helping them with the choices which are available in the market.

Love Gupta We have updated the list with new dual-SIM handsets that bear GSM +CDMA capabilities. Thanks

hi plss help me guys.. im from mumbai,i m planning to buy sim for for business purposes. which iwll will be best for me ?? cdma or gsm??

reliance cdma or docomo gsm ? or ne other .. plss guide me .. thanks

It is Micromax GC222 not Fly. Please correct it

Why don't you consider Lenovo phones like Lenovo A600e in this list...if you consider other sites like ebay you may get further advanced / latest phones with cheaper price from same brand...I am able to get that list after much of search only :-)

Suggest me a good cdma gsm mobile phone under Rs 2000- 2500

pls suggest me a cdma phn in the range 3000 to 8000 rs having high volume and good handlig...i bought a micromax gc222..it was a real waste....i need to rebuy it,..pls help

I have anothe Question, the average of the HTC Desire price in India are OK, or I should buy it on Amazon, for example.
http://pimpyourphone.net/

Its great article of both GSM and CDMA mobiles. but i am looking for under 10k.

lava kkt31c, good sound, good battery backup. 2300 rupees.

Can u please indicate why?

I have already answered this question in one of the posts below. But still I am copying it here for your reference:
"Dear Readers, I had HTC Desire VC for 2-3 months and finally had to
sell it at pathetic price. I bought it in 18K but it is not even worth
8K. It only looks good from front that's it. It is the only 4in screen
android phone in market (with very old android version) with CDMA+GSM
capabilities so HTC is taking advantage. You will be irritated by this

chinese phones perform much better.

If any major players start looking at this CDMA+GSM segment, HTC will
bring down the price of this phone to either 7-8K or stop manufacturing
the phone."

So, even if it costs Rs 10K today, it is still not worth it... I hope you got my answer Dinesh S. Go for HTC One if you have budget or stay with simple phones which will atleast provide a good battery backup if not great touch & android experience.

Have u tried HTC XC?

No dear... I was already very pissed off with the VC version of HTC so never really took courage to buy another HTC. Their service is horrible. XC version is nothing special from VC except 200 MB extra RAM. Battery backup is really poor as some users complain. Its is essentially VC version with extra RAM and a little newer android (not latest). HTC is trying to fool users.
But in CDMA, we really don't have a choice.

Lenovo has introduced A600E smartphone within a reasonable Rs.9300 for Dual Sim(CDMA+GSM)

WCDMA is NOT CDMA... Its just another technology for 3g in GSM phones and has nothing to do with CDMA

Haier E617 and ZTE N799D are entry level C/G handsets. Am personally using the latter with Reliance CDMA and Vodafone for two weeks now. It is the best entry level C/G handset in my opinion. But at any rate, we can never compare G/G handsets with C/G handsets because CDMA connections have a minority market share and the C/G devices are frustratingly few and far between, with escalated prices and atrociously low specifications, as if it would be a wonder if they just worked.

What do u think of Samsung Galaxy Trend II Duos S7572 (CDMA+GSM)?

Anybody has tried Lenovo A600e (CDMA+GSM) yet?

Samsung Galaxy Trend 2 duos S7572 is not CDMA+GSM. Please check the specifications. But if you're talking about the phone in general, the phone is good value for money @6K.
But if you are waiting for a CDMA phone, its hard luck buddy. The real truth is that the market is not driven by the customers needs but by the manufacturer's greed. GSM companies are trying to sell their asses off just to keep CDMA out of market. Govt also favor them... (u already know why).

Why have you mixed CDMA and WCDMA? Both are different technologies and work on two different sides of the technology. For example, Intex Aqua Octa doesn't support CDMA. It doesn't work on MTS or Reliance CDMA. It requires WCDMA which Reliance GSM and all other carriers like Airtel, Vodafone, Aircel, Idea etc offer.

Hi I m planning to get micromax canvas blaze the new cdma gsm launch..bt I want to know wheather the gsm slot supports 3g..bt lenovo 600 e does only 2g

The hTc Desire VC is the WORST android phone I have ever used. Was always a fan of htc, but this phone is pure rubbish. Incredibly slow and not worth it even if you get it for free. Absolutely no support from htc or anyone else. Don't be fooled by its looks.

i want to buy a andriod smartphone in cdma with the least budget with a branded company. Please suggest me.
