The 7-inch budget Android tablet continues to thrive in India. With several indigenous and international players jumping on the bandwagon with their exciting tablet offerings, the Indian consumers have been spoiled for choices.

This month we round up the best and latest 7-inch Android 4.1 (or higher) Jelly Bean powered tablets that pack in impressive specs and performance for January 2014:

1. Simmtronics XPAD Turbo

This voice calling tablet ships with dual-Sim functionality and support for Wi-Fi, 2G and 3G connectivity. Its 7-inch display packs in a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. It also boasts of Intel HD Graphics. The 7-inch slate packs in a 3-megapixel rear sensor and a VGA secondary front-facer.
