Panasonic launches budget T31 dual SIM Android 4.2 smartphone for Rs 7,990

Panasonic has added another budget phone to its lineup with the launch of T31 in the country at Rs 7,990. The announcement of this phone comes within a month’s time after the launch of three dual SIM phones – P11, T11 and T21 aiming at the competitive budget smartphone market segment.

When it comes to technical specifications, Panasonic T31 is fitted with a 4-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen display boasting of 480x800 pixel resolution. The device is stuffed with a 1.3GHz dual-core processor of unspecified chipset paired with 512MB of RAM under its hood.

Further, the phone is fueled by Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS and is compatible for FOTA updates in future. Also, there is 4GB of native storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via a micro SD card.

On the connectivity front, the Panasonic T31 packs traits such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G that are standard and has a 3.2-megapixel rear camera accompanied with a VGA front-facer. Also, it is backed by a 1,300 mAh battery of unknown backup.

The dual SIM Panasonic T31 is available in two color options – White and Bluish Black and is pre-loaded with applications such as WeChat, Hungama, Panasonic VIERA remote utility and also popular game titles like Mortal Kombat 4, GT Racing 2 and Assassins Creed.

With our latest offering- the T31 - we aim to go beyond the metros & cater to our consumers across tier-II/III cities and deliver a remarkable mobile experience to the Indian mass consumers.'

While the latest offering – T31 is priced at Rs 7,990, the previous models P11, T11 and T21 were priced between Rs 9,700 to Rs 16,500.
