Kies Air is another amazing app from Samsung. The app allows you to synchronize your smartphone wirelessly, enabling you to access contents of your smartphone on a desktop. For example you can use your PC to check out the pictures and videos on your phone. Well the app is not restricted to just viewing, you can also upload pictures and videos, check call logs of your phone; send SMS and IM messages and more.
To use the Kies Air app, simply select the Samsung Apps icon on your phone. Then click on the Kies Air to start the download process. After the installation is complete you will need to type the WiFi’s address and sub-mask i.e. "192.168.2.10:6789 in your PC's browser and the Kies will then display on the screen." Voila! you are set to use the Kier app.
Also when you want to exist, simply go to your mobile and click STOP. This app is available on Samsung Galaxy S and Samsung Galaxy S2.
The Good: The best part in this app is you don't need to use data cable to any other software in your PC to access your mobile information. You can simply connect it using the Wi-Fi connection.
You can access information and make changes in your handset via PC. For instance, you can send messages via PC and it is even more convenient to type a message via PC keyboard. You can change the ringtone and you can play videos and open pictures on the large screen display of your computer.
The Bad: The bad thing is that the phone-calling feature doesn't work. This means you cannot make any call via PC even using the headphones- you can only send messages. You cannot also open the pictures or videos on your choice of media players.
