Samsung Smart View app review

Smartphones are becoming a integral part of our lives. They keep us informed, educated and entertained. Their role, however is not restricted to mere communication or entertainment and are gradually becoming a one stop shop to all our needs. For example it can also be used to control your TV.

Using Samsung's smart view app you can connect your Samsung smart TV and your Smartphone via Wi-Fi- connection. Available for free on Android Market, this application converts your smartphone into a remote control through which you can manage your TV programs, watch TV on your smartphone, control volume and even play your mobile content like videos on TV as well.

Designed for Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy Galaxy S2 devices, this application runs only with Samsung Smart TV, unfortunately it is not compatible with other TV's. Also both the devices should be connected to same wireless router with a common access point. You can walk anywhere in your home within the range of Wi-Fi network and watch TV in any room.

The Good: This app is available for free via Android marker. You can control TV programs, volume, play videos, movies all through your Samsung smartphone. 

The Bad: It is limited to Wi-Fi connection. If there were more ways to connect both the gadgets, it would make this app all the more desirable.
