Google Map app Review

Google map can take you anywhere on this planet. Most of the Google map users, who often check the routes of their new destinations, are not aware of the plethora of features that google maps offers.
Google map can be simply downloaded to your handset. Today most of the smartphones that you see like the iPhones, blackberry's, and android phones all are GPS enabled. Google app also works on your tablet device as well.
There is not much difference in the “Google map application," that you download from the internet and the "Google map" that you see on the website. When you add two destinations in the direction boxes and click on get direction button, you get the shortest route to reach that place.
The same pattern follows the app as well. You will get the blue line between the two destinations when you click on the "start button," but along with this you will get the blue dot also which will continuously blink on the screen till the time you log off from the apps.
That blue dot is an indication of your current location. It comes quite handy when you are making that adventurous road trip. While driving if you loose your way, then by typing the current location and your destination you can reach your final destination very easily.
Most important- when you start driving your vehicle from the current location the blue dot will start moving on the blue line which marks the path taken by you. So if you take a wrong turn the blue dot will move out of the line, indicating the same.
You can watch the satellite view of the streets as well as zoom in and zoom out the map. By zooming in you can even see the service lanes, tourists spots and other quick stop overs like dinning places and restrooms.
