Apple Staff Favorite Localscope now comes integrated with new apps - MotionX GPS Drive, social GPS Navigation app Waze, and MetroView Australia & New Zealand. Localscope 1.5 for iPhone now supports 4 new languages - the German, French, Italian and Spanish.
Localscope GPS app simplifies local search with an intuitive user experience for smartphone users. You can just type in a search or pick from a list of categories and Localscope pulls data from Google, Foursquare, Wikimapia, Twitter and Bing to give users an incredibly clear picture of what's nearby.
TomTom and Navigon were the first Apps to be integrated with Localscope and now users can pick from MotionX GPS Drive, Waze, or the Australia and New Zealand-based MetroView. With a single tap, users can switch into their favorite navigation App to get turn-by-turn directions to the places they are interested in.
According to Dhiraj Gupta, CTO, Cynapse, "Navigation Apps like MotionX GPS Drive or Waze aren't primarily designed to help you search and discover what's around you. They're designed to reliably get you from point A to point B. Localscope can help. By detecting your installed navigation Apps and allowing you to choose the App you want to navigate with, Localscope connects the dots between geo social search and navigation. It makes your navigation Apps much more useful when you want to do both at the same time."
Localscope has further added 4 new languages to its new update. iPhone users who speak French, Italian, German and Spanish can now use Localscope in their native language. Also, the company plans to add support for more languages in the months to come.
Localscope 1.5 is available for US $1.99 exclusively on the App Store in the Navigation category. You can download the app at: http://j.mp/localscope.
