Hack Proof Password Symbian

Vesuvian has developed the Hack Proof Password Manager that allows you to input all of your secure data such as PIN codes, credit card details and online logins into the app, which is then protected by a single password.
The initial set up is very simple and the interface of the whole app continues in the same way. Offering just a plain black screen and an options menu at the bottom, you can choose to add any of the 12 areas including credit cards, bank accounts, website logins and PC passwords.
Once chosen, you're presented with eight free text fields to save information into such as username, passwords and URLs.
You can also import data from files straight into the password manager as well as exporting it if you wanted to move it or access it elsewhere.
Although we felt slightly nervous putting all of our information in one place, the app does claim an ARC4 encryption algorithm to protect it and the app automatically locks after a short time of inactivity.
The particular field that we thought was useful was inputting the phone number needed to cancel bank cards, in the event that a wallet was stolen when out and about, possibly saving a lot of aggravation later on if someone managed to use the account.
Protection is something often worth paying for but another bonus of this app is it is free to download.
Perhaps some may feel anxious about keeping all their information and logins in one place but for the forgetful type or user with different logins coming out of their ears, this simple little tool could be the answer.
