Nokia introduces holiday Apps for N8

For those people who are lucky enough to get a chance to escape the confines of the office and are planning to go on a holiday to some other parts of the world for a few weeks, Nokia has brought some excellent Apps that help them on the tour by making the entire process a tad bit convenient.

It has revealed four new Apps that are available at Ovi Store, which you might find useful.The apps named -  CampGuide, MSW Surf Forecast, Virgin Atlantic Flight Tracker and Translate are all available for free of cost.

CampGuide

If you are looking forward for a camping trip with your friends or loved ones CampGuide is a must have App.

The welcome screen gives you four options to select from: Preparation, Location, Breaking Camp and First Aid. Every option will give you helpful tips on the things you should to know when going out for camping.

In addition, you also get all the required information about what to pick for the camping and what not to.

MSW Surf Forecast

If you love the beach and rising the big waves this App is for you. As the Nokia N8 already has a GPS function so you can find your nearest surf beach or use the search bar to type in your favourite location. When you will be done with that, then you’ll get the info about the wind speeds, tidal reports with full updates continuously for the entire day to keep you updated.

Virgin Atlantic Flight Tracker

This new application for Nokia N8 gives all the information about Virgin Atlantic flights, so if you are traveling through it then this could be really very helpful for you. The App offers a view of planes that are in the air on a 3D representation across the globe. You can check the timings of planes for or to any destination, In-fact, it  gives you the option to check-in right from your Nokia smartphone.

Translate

When you’re visiting overseas or in the areas where you don't know the local language, it’s important to know how to communicate with the locals. This Translate app lets you to convert a phrase or even a word from your known language into a language of your choice.
