HTC One Mini to land on August 3
According to latest rumors, HTC One Mini will land in Germany on August 3
The rumors about HTC One Mini are just getting louder and louder. The cheaper variant of HTC’s flagship is a highly anticipated smartphone. As its name implies, this will be a mini-me version of the HTC One.
While the smartphone is yet to be launched officially, we can expect it to go on sale in Europe in early August. Well, reports from Teltarif suggest that the HTC One Mini will be available in Germany starting August 3. This information adheres to the earlier report hinting that the One Mini might come in August.
Unfortunately, there is no information on the pricing of the smartphone yet, but it would be a brilliant move for the Taiwanese tech giant if it announces One Mini at a lesser price than the Galaxy S4 Mini.
As far as the specs are concerned, the HTC One Mini is likely to have a 4.3-inch screen with resolution of 720x1280 pixels, which works out to have a pixel density of 342 ppi. The phone is rumored to be powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor and features Beats Audio, an UltraPixel camera and BoomSound speakers.
Despite the slightly reduced specs, the mini has Android 4.2 Jelly Bean under the hood, with an improved Sense 5 UI on top. Further, the mini version might not have the Infrared remote blaster as in the current model.
However, there is no official information from the vendor regarding the miniature version of HTC One and hence, we need to wait until the company decides to announce it. Besides, the smaller version of the phone, there is expected to be a phablet-sized model, currently codenamed the HTC T6, which is rumored to be the first smartphone to be powered by Android 5.0.
