LG Optimus Black specs

LG has launched a new smartphone featuring a lot of fabulous features, the LG Optimus Black. This is an another amazing device under its popular Optimus line. This latest upbringing of the company has entered the market just after two months of the LG Optimus 2X release.

Optimus Black is the lightest high-end smartphone in the Indian market that offers ecellent attributes and packs exciting specs. Despite of all it is available at an unbelievable price of Rs 19,990.

The LG mobile phone sports a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen and offers 480x800 pixels display resolution. Moreover, it is layered with a Gorilla Glass over its IPS LCD screen that is scratch resistant and provides an amazing viewing experience to the users.

The LG Optimus Black embeds a fantastic user interface, the most unfortunate thing is its Android 2.2 OS, but the company will soon roll out a gingerbread update for the device, as it is compatible to it. The LG phone is also strong at its hardware, as it includes 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, 512MB of RAM, and 1GB of internal storage.

Packed with two efficient cameras, the main 5-megapixel camera is fixed on the rear along with autofocus and LED flash, where as the other one is front-facing 2-megapixel camera basically for video chats.

The LG Optimus Black brings good connectivity attributes such as 3G, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, and DLNA. The LG smartphone is embedded with a long lasting 1500mAh Li-Ion battery that offers a good talk time of up to 6 hours and standby time of 375 hours.

The beautiful device can be obtained in black, pink, silver, white and brown coulours. Also, the new Optimus Black supports up to expandable memory of 32GB and comprises other useful features like  digital compass, proximity sensor, A-GPS and an accelerometer.
