How to access the Security Settings on your Micromax Pike

Micromax Pike offers Security Settings for the users to safeguard the device against theft or data loss. We show you how to utilize these useful services offered on this device.
PIN code request
Go to Menu > Security setup>Security setup>SIM A/B security setup> SIM A/B lock.
Warning: If you enter three wrong PIN codes in a row, you need to enter the PUK code to unlock. PIN code and PUK code are provided by the network operator.
Theft Tracker
Go to Menu > Security setup> SIM A/B security setup> Theft Tracker
Phone lock
Go to Menu > Security setup > Phone lock
The preset password is 0000
Auto keypad lock
Go to Menu > Security setup> Auto keypad lock > Select the time for the auto keylock.
Unlock the phone by sliding your finger across the 'slide to unlock' message displayed on your screen.
To lock the phone press the 'lock' icon present on the 'idle' screen.
Data Security
Go to Menu> Security setup> Data security
Enter the default password 0000.
Allows you to password protect folders like: Phonebook, Messages, Call logs, File manager, Sound recorder and Videos.
Change password
Go to Menu > Security setup> SIMA/B Security setup> Change password
Remote Control (Helps in controlling your phone functions, incase of theft)
Go to Settings> Security Setup> SIM A/B Security Setup> Remote Control.
To accesss this folder enter the default password 0000.
In the folder switch the status to ON. Thereafter enter an alternate mobile number in the 'Send Control SMS number'.
