Airtel introduces Airtel World SIM

Airtel World SIM allows users to receive incoming calls on their India Airtel number and still save up to 85%. With this World SIM card, Airtel users can easily make outgoing calls across the world and in the country they are in at a fraction of international calling rates.

To activate the services, you only need to send SMS "AWS A" to 58125 from your India Airtel SIM just before leaving abroad. You can also activate the Airtel World SIM at a particular time by sending the following SMS “AWS A hh:mm”. However, once the service is activated, you would be unable to receive any calls on your India Airtel SIM.

The new Airtel World SIM can be used across 150+ countries i.e. there is no need to change your SIM for every country that you visit. This new Airtel SIM offers the comfort of being connected 24x7 across the globe.
