
BSNL introduces BlackBerry services
BSNL launches new BlackBerry Plans for its 2G and 3G subscribers across all telecom circles in India

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) unfurled BlackBerry limited and unlimited tariff plans under 2G and 3G for its postpaid and prepaid subscribers. Under limited tariff plans, all 2G users are given 2 plan options - BIS P-1 (BlackBerry Internet Services P-1) and BIS P-II.
The user has to pay Rs. 299 and Rs. 499 as fixed monthly charges for BlackBerry under BIS P-1 and BIS P-II respectively. Free data usage (Kb/month) is offered to the users if they opt for BIS P-1. On the other hand, users need to pay Rs. 2000 for BIS P-II.
The unlimited email facility is offered to the postpaid and prepaid 2G users at Rs. 299 and Rs. 271, respectively. For unlimited instant messaging, the prepaid user pays Rs. 270 while the postpaid user pays Rs. 299. Unlimited internet access is provided at Rs. 898 and Rs. 999 to all prepaid and postpaid consumers.
No additional charges are levied for availing 3G prepaid BlackBerry services as of now. While additional FMC ( fixed monthly charges ) of Rs. 25 are charged for 3G postpaid BlackBerry services.
