Idea mobile services launched in Chennai
With Chennai entry Idea becomes present in entire Southern region

Aditya Birla group company Idea Cellular launched its mobile services in the Chennai circle on Friday. With this the opertor is now present in all the South Indian telecom circles.
The company had earlier launched its services in Tamil Nadu in May.
The company also plans to launch its services in Kolkatta, Jammu & Kashmir, and Nort east states in next few months.
The company is planning to invest Rs 1000 crore for its network roll out which will make Idea present in 600 towns by 2010.
