Loop Mobile announces SmartPaid plan for prepaid users

Loop Mobile announced a new plan for its prepaid subscribers called SmartPaid. The plan allows both existing and new subscribers to get bundled STD and local minutes under different rental plans.

Recharging options are available with etopup of Rs. 320, Rs. 370 or Rs. 420. An etopup of Rs. 320 offers 1300 SMSs to the subscriber, which includes bundled free 100 minutes of STD calls, free 700 minutes of local calls within the network and free 500 minutes of local calls with other networks.

In addition, the user gets other benefits such as free voice mail, free 2GB internet data usage and free missed call alerts. Loop mobile aims to target high-end consumers through SmartPaid. Earlier the company offered a plan called epaid, which was worth more than Rs. 1000.

Surya Mahadevan, chief operating officer, Loop Mobile, said that the offers double the value the customer gets from the typical prepaid product on a monthly commitment of Rs. 320 plus.
