MTNL has slashed ISD tariff rates for its GSM and 3G subscribers
MTNL revises ILD tariff for GSM for 26 countries

With the new revised ISD call rates, the effective call rates for MTNL GSM and 3G subscribers dialing abroad are now going to be much cheaper. The MTNL subscribers making ISD calls to countries like China, US, Canada, Hong Kong, Thailand and Singapore will now have to pay only Re 1 per minute, with effect from July 1, which is slashed down rate from Rs 6.30-9.20 per minute.
If you need to make an ISD call to countries like Argentina, Bahrain, Cyprus, Jordan, South Korea, Malaysia and Sweden, you will be paying Rs 3 per minute instead of Rs 12 per minute tariff rate that was applicable earlier. Whereas countries like Australia, Austria, Bangladesh, Columbia, Indonesia, Iraq, Russia, Taiwan, Uzbekistan and Vietnam call rates have been slashed down to Rs 5 per minute from Rs 18.
It's a new promotional offer launched by MTNL which will be valid for a period of 3 months applicable for both postpaid and prepaid GSM subscribers w.e.f. 30.06.2010 at 00.00 Hrs. Furthermore, MTNL plans to float its 3G MTNL data cards to Delhi and NCR customers from July 5, which will be priced at Rs 1799.
