Business Standard reports that Reliance Communications, with its 1.5 million data customers, will roll out the service across 15,000 towns, with a scale-up plan to cover 24,000 towns by end of the first quarter of this financial year.
Starting from New Mumbai, the live chat service centers will handle real-time query and issue related to its customers. Initially, the query handling will be provided by over 500 live chat agents for a capacity scalable to 75,000 live customer interactions per day. The live agents will will serve customer queries, requests and complaints.
Reliance Communications will later extend live chat service to its voice and corporate customers.
