Tata DOCOMO announces 'My Family Plan'

Tata DOCOMO has introduced a latest value added service, 'MyFamily Plan' focussing its post paid customers. The company has unveiled its three variants, which are like small family plan for Rs. 999, medium family plan for Rs. 1,999 and large family plan for Rs. 2,999 with a single bill.

This plan include features such as free airtime to make local and STD calls, free local and STD SMS and not only this, but also some amount of data usage for accessing 2G or 3G data services as per the plan. Apart from this, the customers can also opt for Closed User Group (CUG) offer of free local calling.

Mr. Gurinder Singh Sandhu, Head Corporate Marketing, Tata Teleservices Limited stated, "This is yet another industry first from Tata DOCOMO and is another key step in our constant endeavor to simplify and uncomplicate telecom services. Starting today, post pay customers can stop worrying about managing multiple bills, multiple plans, and multiple payments dates. With MyFamily Plans the family can now benefit from buying into telecom as a single unit and eat from a very large common pool of minutes, data and SMS.”"

Under these three different plans subscribers can take up to three connections in the plan for small family, while they can take up to five connections in the plans for medium and large family.

The plan details are described as below:

MyFamily Small Plan 999 offers its postpaid subscribers a free talk valvue of 3000 mins for local and STD calls, free 1000 CUG minutes for local. Besides, 500 free SMS and 512 MB data consumption.

MyFamily Medium 1999 plan offers its postpaid customers a free talk value of 6000 minutes for local and STD calls, free local 1500 CUG minutes. Moreover, 1000 free local or STD SMS and free 1GB of data consumption.

MyFamily Large 2999 plan offers its post paid subscribers free 10,000 minutes for local and STD calls, free local 2000 CUG minutes. Also, 1500 free local or STD SMS and free 2GB of data consumption.

After consumption of free airtime provided in MyFamily plans, the  subscribers will have to pay 1 paise per second for all local as well as STD calls, they make.
