Tata Indicom unveiled its ULTA PLAN in India. The plan is so called because the STD call charges are less than local calls. For STD calls, the user has to pay tariff of 30 paise/minute, while local calls are charged @50 paise/minute.
The new subscribers can enjoy the benefits of the plan by recharging their number with First Recharge Vouchers of Rs. 58 and Rs. 104, where the user can make STD calls @30 per minute for a duration of 3 months for the first 600 minutes.
After the usage is over, STD calls will be charged @50 paise per minute. In addition, the ULTA PLAN vouchers offer free lifetime incoming call validity with talk time of Rs. 32.58 and Rs. 74.29 to the new user. All local and national messages would cost 50 paise for the user.
For existing subscribers, the ULTA Plan Special Tariff Vouchers would be available at Rs. 16 in Gujarat, Rajasthan, UP West, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, North-East, Assam, Orissa, RoWB, MPCG, UP East, and Jammu & Kashmir. On the other hand, circles spanning Maharashtra & Goa, Mumbai, Kolkata, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Delhi, would avail the vouchers at Rs. 26.
The ULTA pack can be activated directly by sending a message 'GET ULTA' to 12524. This SMS would cost Rs. 15 for subscribers in Gujarat, Rajasthan, UP West, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, North-East, Assam, Orissa, RoWB, MPCG, UP East, and Jammu & Kashmir. Customers in Maharashtra & Goa, Mumbai, Kolkata, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Delhi, would be charged Rs. 24.
