At CES, Las Vegas Huawei unveiled the world’s thinnest smartphone. Dubbed Huawei Ascend P1, the super slim beauty at just 6.68mm thickness houses some impressive specs.

Huawei Ascend P1 boasts of a screen size of 4.3-inch and super AMOLED 960x540pixels resolution. The screen is covered with Gorilla glass, making the smartphone durable and scratch-resistant.

The good news is that the Huawei flagship model runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich which is the latest version of the Google headed operating software. Vanilla version of the operating software can be used on the P1 which comes without any bugs, good for the users.
Under the hood of the device is a 1.5GHz TI OMAP 4460 Cortex-A9 processor that makes its working fast and smooth.
To match up with the competitive standards of the market the device supports dual camera. The rear camera is 8-megapixel and the front supports 1.3-megapixel camera for video calling.

The Huawei Acend P1 houses a 1670 mAh battery which the Chinese giant claims will last 40 percent more than other smartphone batteries.
The Ascend P1 is expected to reach markets by April.
There is no word on pricing as yet.
