The competitively priced Spice Bamboo is one of the latest feature rich phones to arrive on the scene.
Look and Feel
The device sports a 2-inch screen with 176x220pixels resolution. It measures 118.3 x 49.8 x 13.5 mm and weighs 88.5grams. Drawing inspiration from the 'Bamboos', the device sports a green color on the rear with a hint of the vibrant color on the front buttons and top bar.
The bottom green band on the device front brings out the dedicated controls for the music player. The device displays eight buttons for different shortcuts which include menu, contacts, receiving call, back, home, rejecting a call and spice gang.
Also thrown in is a handy torch to aid at night and a 3.5mm jack port that can be used for either charging the phone or as USB port for data transfer.
Spice Bamboo is a dual SIM phone and operates on GSM 900/1800 MHz frequency. It also includes a microSD slot for memory expansion of up to 8GB.

Interface
The interface is smooth and easy to use and understand. Going beyond the home screen – i.e. menu screen – you will see nine icons: messages, multimedia, spice gang, settings, organiser, phonebook, call logs, Facebook and Internet.
There is also a dedicated Facebook icon so users can keep abreast of all they social networking-related affairs.
Spice Gang includes Nimbuzz, a service which allows users to chat with other handsets that feature Nimbuzz without any charge. It's like BBM, in this respect.
Spice gang also includes sections like social networking, news, recipes, search etc.
