Apple has sent the hardware of iPhone5 to its carrier partners for testing
Published on Aug 3, 2011
Apple iPhone 5 launch date seeems to be looming closer. The device which is expected to launched by this September or October has been apparently sent to Apple’s carrier partners for its final testing.
According to the news sources, the hardware of iPhone5 packed in the sealed boxes has been sent to the carrier for its network testing.
This hardware was packed in the iPhones older model so that no one can get the idea of what the new phone looks like. But you know what happened in 2010? The Apple engineers while testing the iPhone 4 in iPhone 3Gs case left one model in the California bar and the news spread like wild fire.
This time the Gizmodo, the tech blog posted the pictures of iPhone 5 clone, which is manufactured by a Chinese company. This model is slightly different from the iPhone 4S, which is expected to be in the market soon.
This new model has round edges unlike the iphone 4 or the picture we got about the iPhone4S. So, if these pictures are true then iPhone 5 won’t take much time to step into the market. Most of the tech publications are focused on September and October for its launch, but AllThings sources say, that, as per the present situation the later month would be the right date for its launch. However, Gizmodo, claims that the employees request for vacations have been postponed for October.
So, if it is true then this phone will certainly come up in the September. Along with all this The Business Times, reported that Apple is planning to launch a line of low cost phones to combat the rising number of Google Android smartphones.
Around 35 percent of the 3,000 U.S. population is ready to buy the iPhone 5 as it launches.
