Apple's iPad is nothing less than a revolutionary product. Every time a new iPad releases, the market looks towards it with eager anticipation. Therefore, speculations about Apple launching the premium version of its iPad 2 has the market abuzz.
For the first time, reports have surfaced that it would upgrade its existing tablet before the launch of a new one. The new device will expectedly have better looks and smoother functioning than the existing iPad 2.
Apple launched the iPad 2 in March this year. The device has built a large consumer base and is posed to sell around 75 million pieces just for this year.
So, why would Apple upgrade an already oversold tablet? And why would it do that just before the launch of the iPad 3? We provide you a detailed overview that should answer all your questions regarding the premium iPad 2.
While the iPad 2 was a step ahead from the previous iPad, it had its own share of problems.
Firstly, its display. Since the iPad 2 was equipped with a large, pixilated display, it was bound to have problems with dead pixels. As some of the million pixels went dead, they left red, blue and green dots that won't go away.
Also, the backlight became an eyesore for some users. The display caught dust that could never be cleaned. Besides these, the Microphone and the LCD were also giving problems.
If Apple plans to unveil the premium iPad 2, it would provide us a tablet that takes over where the existing iPad falls short.
The premium iPad 2 is set to have a higher resolution display. It would also be equipped with HD cameras and a brand new processor that replaces the existing A5.
Many other things have been speculated about this version of the iPad 2.
Apple users expect to see revolutionary changes in the premium version of the iPad 2. Some of these are - the iPad 2 3G being upgraded to the iPad 2 4G and the iOS 4.3 being upgraded to iOS 5.0.
2011 was called the "The year of the iPad 2" by Apple. Most probably, Apple wants to prove its claim right by launching the premium iPad 2 just before the year comes to a close.
The speculated premium iPad 2 would come from a family of stalwart tablets. We expect it to dazzle the market and give Apple an even ground for the upcoming iPad 3.
