Under the hood, both the devices pack in a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a Sony's Reality Display with Mobile Bravia Engine for a enhanced display and what's more - they have undergone a luxurious Android gingerbread treatment.
Touted as the world's smallest HD recorders, the devices are capable of providing a HD 720p video recording capacity. Both devices compete head on with each other and boast of similar specs with the exception of one feature. Xperia Mini Pro comes equipped with a slide-out Qwerty keyboard. Both the devices will be entering the mid-range handsets category, which will surely make selecting a tad bit difficult.
Facebook inside Xperia feature is definitely a USP of the devices, that allows a deeper integration of the social networking site into the Sony Ericsson Xperia handset. This feature will also be extended to other popular SE devices like the X10, Xperia Play and Arc next week. Apart from keeping you connected with your friends and family over FB, the feature also allows you to comment and like the music tracks within your device. Thanks to its integration with the music player.
According to Sony Ericsson it is a work in progress and we should expect atleast two updates before the end of the year.
Recently Sony Ericsson launched Xperia Mini Pro in Indian for Rs. 15,399. SE Mini Pro features a 3-inch touchscreen display, a powerful 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 5 mega-pixel camera with LED flash, and access to more than 150,000 apps from the Android Market.
