While every mobile manufacturing company is busy making its product bigger and sturdy, Wimm labs has unveiled its first smallest smartphone in the market. It looks like a phone, but the surprising part is, it's wearable. You can use it like a watch also. You can attach it with other straps also like your belt.
It is really an amazing product, which is developed after a long research work. The best part about this nano product is that it runs on Android platform. But, the technicians at wimm labs have more ideas in their mind. They actually want to use the Android platform to make a distinct OS for the Wimm smartphone.
“We have developed an incredible powerful, small size modular device, which can be fitted into a wide range of consumer products. Its applications are designed according to the web interface compatibility. And, Wimm labs platform offers its licensees to develop more personal, intuitive, and valuable connections with the consumers”, said Dave Mooring, Chief Executive Officer, Wimm Labs.
According to the experts this phone will have separate and totally unique platform, which will resembles a lot to the Andorid OS, but along with this they are developing the SDK (software development kit) as well, for the developers, so that the smallest phone will not face shortage of applications. Company has lots of plans to promote this device in a newer way.
Company wants to use the SDK to make full use of its compatibilities. Otherwise it would be difficult to connect it to other devices and use its Wi-Fi and other features. The platform which Wimm labs wants to develop will support android as well as other apps, which will be developed specifically for this handset.
To make it faster the Wimm labs has used 1.4 inches small display, 667 Mhz processor, and up 32 GB extendable memory. This tiny display has 160x160 pixels resolution, with capacitive touch. Along with this it has accelerometer, magnetometer for direction sensing, and it comes pre-loaded with a library of custom watch, core micro apps, caller id, SMS preview, lost phone warning, calendar, weather, world clock, and a lot more.
