While Samsung Galaxy 10.1 tab has still not landed in India, Amazon in UK has started taking pre-orders for the upcoming 8.9-inch tablet of the same product line. Everybody is expecting the availability of this device from 11th of this month.
We are hearing this for a long time now that, Samsung is going to launch its Galaxy Tab 10.1 in India soon, though the exacte date has not yet been confirmed. While if we talk about the Galaxy Tab 8.9, then again Samsung has plans to release the tablet but again, the company has not yet announced the exact date.
Samsung admirers in India would be happy to hear that after the release of Galaxy Tab 8.9 in UK, it will probably heading towards asian markets. But, after looking at the case of Galaxy Tab 10.1, which has not yet released in India, it seems it will take a lot of time for Tab 8.9 to reach the country.
However, there are some third party vendors present in India who can provide the upcoming tablet to the Indian users, once it gets launched in UK.
According to Mobile Indian report, you can get the Galaxy Tab 8.9 at a cost of Rs 47,000 approximately for the 32 GB version, prior to its release in India, soon after its shipping starts in UK.
The Samsung Tab 8.9 sports a compact 8.9-inch screen and is powered by a 1GHz Tegra 2 processor. The marvelous device runs over Android Honeycomb operating system. As the Honeycomb 3.2 update has been launched, so we it is likely for the Tab 8.9 to roll out with the latest version of Honeycomb. In-fact, if it doesn't than too the update can be expected soon after its release.
