More iPhone 5 leaked pictures have appeared online, although some awkward scaling suggests they're fake
Published on Aug 5, 2011
A cluster of fake pictures of the iPhone 5 have flooded on the Internet.
Although no one knows exactly when the iPhone 5 will be launched in the market, new photos are 'leaked'.
These new pictures of the iPhone 5 were shot by a forum member at MacRumors, although they do look a little suspicious.
The person who snapped the pictures claims it was taken in the office of a French operator (France Telecom maybe?). And, as we've previously reported, iPhone 5 hardware is shipped to the carrier partners for testing.
However, the picture definitely looks Photoshopped - just look at the size of the index finger in comparison to the device.
The person claimed he got his hands on the device just for two minutes and took this opportunity to take a photo.
It may be an obvious case of Photoshopping, but it is enough to create more rumour among Apple fan boys, as these pictures look suspiciously like a selection leaked just a few years back.
This picture also reveals the next iPhone 5 may have rounded edges, a smaller bezel around the display, tapered back and slimmer body.
