Since the very launch of its Xoom tablet, Motorola has been expected to release some more tablets. So, it comes as no surprise when speculations surface about its new tablet, codenamed Kore.

Motorola Kore has become the buzzword because Motorola has registered 5 domains, all with Kore in their names. These are - MotorolaKore.com, KoreMotorola.com, Moto-kore.com, MotoKore.com and Motorola-Kore.com. Not only that, all of these domains have been snapped on the same day - 3rd August 2011.

Motorola was earlier expected to reinvent Xoom and call this tablet - the Xoom 2. But, we believe it found Kore to be more exciting.

However, speculations are speculations and they don't stop at nothing. The Kore tablet, according to rumors is expected to have two completely new and awaited features - a quad-core processor and a new Android OS.

The Kore is expected to be one of the world's first quad-core tablets. It is expected to be equipped with NVIDIA's Tegra 3 processor. In addition to that, it might also run on the eagerly anticipated Android platform - the Ice Cream Sandwich OS.

While the Xoom was the launch pad of the Android Honeycomb OS, the Kore might be the launch pad for the Ice Cream Sandwich OS.

Not only that, this tablet is touted to have a Retina eye sort resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. It might also offer 4G capability as it is speculated to be equipped with 4G LTE functionality.

Motorola has neither confirmed nor denied these reports. The Motorola Kore would remain a mystery unless we receive the official word from Motorola. Until then, all we can do is make educated guesses.

The Motorola Kore will be eagerly awaited.
