The smartphone industry has literally transformed from a fortress to a leaking faucet. Every week, rather everyday, we hear about new leaks.
First, it was HTC, then it was Blackberry and quite recently, Motorola has become susceptible to leaks. After the leaks of ZN300 and Pax, here comes another leak of the Motorola Droid Bionic.
The Droid Bionic was unveiled at the CES 6 months ago and since then the market has waited with bated breaths for any news on this handset.
Almost everything about the Droid Bionic, from its user manual to its front, side and back profiles have been leaked previously.
So, you may ask, what's new this time?
Well, the new pics of the Droid Bionic show its battery panel with an extra large battery. These new pictures show a battery that is quite big - it actually fills up 75% of the phone's back.
We hope bigger is better for the Droid Bionic as this battery will be most probably be 1900 mAh, one of the most powerful smartphone batteries ever.
The Droid Bionic has got us excited as we have already learnt that it would be equipped a dual-core processor along with possessing 4G LTE capabilities.
In addition to that, it would support an 8 MP camera and features such as face detection, image stabilization and geo-tagging. To support such functions, the phone undoubtedly needs a powerful battery.
Motorola seems quite confident about the Droid Bionic and we, too want to believe in its vision for this handset.
Whether the Motorola Droid Bionic measures up to the hype or not, only time would tell.
