A 10 second video of the LG Prada K2 phone has surfaced online. This leak, although it appears blurry and out of focus, provides us definite proof that the company is gearing up for the release of the Prada K2.

Some pictures of the K2 had already been leaked last month. The recent video provides us a sneak peek at the handset although it doesn't provide us with anything else.

So, what does the LG Prada K2 have in store or us? Lets have a look.

The Prada K2 belongs to the lineage of LG's first captive touchscreen device, the Prada.

This new device supports a 2nd generation 4.3-inch NOVA display and runs on Android's newest smartphone platform - the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. The processor is yet undetermined but one can expect no less than a dual-core or quad-core processor from LG.

Along with that, it will be equipped with an 8-megapixel back and 1.3-megapixel front camera. It would even run a brand new 21 Mbps HSPA+ radio.

But, the most exciting feature of this handset is its size. The Prada K2 looks extremely slick. In fact, it would be one of the world's slimmest handsets at 9mm.

One can expect a high-style quotient from this phone as along with the Prada name, it belongs to a line of award winning phones. While its predecessors had the drawback of not being a smartphone, this handset offers an Android platform along with much-improved hardware.

Looking at the video, we can say that LG can make beautiful handsets once the comapny sets its mind to it.

The Prada's expected pricing and release date is not yet known, although one might expect it to be release this fall.

India has just entered the initial stages of 3G connectivity. But, industry pundits expect ito be 4 ready in 2012. We are keeping our fingers crossed.

Stay tuned for more on smartphones.
