Windows Phone 7 Tango will be a budget version of Microsoft's operating system, aimed at the Asian market, according to reliable sources.
It has been reported that the Tango OS was developed for lower end devices, specifically designed with Nokia in mind. What this means is that Nokia will soon launch low-end phones with the Tango platform.
According to the speculation, Nokia is planning to capture the Asian market with these lower-end handsets. This would suggest Nokia is planning to test the operating system in new countries, where lower-end devices are more popular.
But, the most surprising thing is that while the Mango OS has not yet arrived on the market, Nokia is planning to woo its budget customers with another OS.
The grapevine is heating up with the news that Windows Phone 7 OSes are going to change the smartphone market once and for all.
If it happens, then we might see a rise in demand of budget Windows phones in Asia.
A budget Windows Phone 7 OS will certainly attract those consumers who cannot afford a high range Windows Phone 7 device at moment.
