Micromax projector phone X40 launches today

Micromax's latest offering is a projector phone. Dubbed as Micromax X40, the device popped up on a shopping portal, Lets Buy revealing the specifications and price of the yet to be launched device in all its glory.

A GSM dual SIM multimedia projector phone, Micromax X40 sports a bar style and comes packed in a 117x51x17 mm dimensions. Weighing just 148 gms this ultra light device is equipped with a 2.4 inch screen with a resolution of 240x320 pixels, a 2-megapixel camera, and other essentials like FM Radio.

The USP of the phone is its in-built projector, which enables users to view images, videos, movies, pictures and multiple documents like MS Word, Excel, PDF, Spreadsheet and Powerpoint on the projector. There is also an option for adjusting the viewing format from large to extra large screen size and a button to switch between projector and phone screen.

The device comes preloaded with handy apps like eBook, Mobile Tracker, Call Blacklist, Facebook, Snaptu, Nimbuzz and Mandu Radio and sports a 1000 mAh battery life, which provides for 2.5 hours of battery talk time and upto 200 hours of standby time.

Micromax X40 comes with a internal memory of 80 MB and a external memory of 4GB and supports Bluetooth for file sharing with other devices among others.

Micromax projector phone joins Spice Popcorn, Intex V.Show, Galaxy Beam, Intex V.Mini, TechBerry ST 200 and G5 phone in the list of available projector phones in the market.
