The Korean smart devices manufacturing company, Samsung has officially announced its Galaxy Tab 10.1 in India. Priced at Rs. 36,200, the tablet has been dubbed as the Galaxy Tab 750 in India.
Expected to arrive in the stores by the end of this month, Galaxy Tab 750 has been among the most awaited tablets this year.
Powered by a powerful 1Ghz dual-core processor, Android 3.1 Honeycomb and 1GB RAM, for faster performance and multi-tasking, Tab 750 provides fun and functionalities to Tab users.
At just 565 grams, Tab 750 take pride in being one of the lightest tablets around the world. Sporting a stunning 10.1-inches display, the device sports a capable 3-megapixel camera at the rear with a front facing 2-megapixel camera. The primary camera provided in the tablet packs in Flash features and is capable of recording HD videos at 1080p.
The Galaxy Tab 750 also supports a 16GB of internal memory along with a host of connectivity options through HSPA, Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi for faster mobile downloads and data transfer. Preloaded with Mobile TV applications that lets the customers enjoy up to 55 Indian television channels, 'Social Hub' to comfortably gathers all your contacts,email, Instant messaging, calendar and social network connections in a single interface are just some of its impressive features.
In addition it also includes apps like 'Readers Hub' that let the users access to above 2.2 million books, 2,000 newspaper (49 languages) and 2,300 magazines (22 languages) in no time.
Besides, the otherapplication 'My Reader' allows Indian consumers to access up to 17 Indian newspapers, 17 Indian magazines and 30,000 Indian languagebooks, which actually seems a useful as well as interesting feature in the device.
The Galaxy Tab is expected to give stiff competition to Apple iPad 2, Motorola XOOM, HTC Flyer, BlackBerry PlayBook and many others which have recently entered the Indian tablet segment.
