Beetel enters tablet market with Magiq

Beetel launches Magiq, a Android Froyo powered tablet for Rs 9999

Beetel Teletech has unveiled Magiq, its first tablet device in the market.

Packed with a 1Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen, the device sports a front VGA camera and a 2-megapixel camera at the rear. Providing a 8 GB built-in storage, the tablet is powered by a 2200 mAh battery life.

One of the main selling points of the tablet is its 3G connectivity. All you need to do is insert your 3G SIM card to experience the high-speed internet on the go.

Priced Rs. 9999, the tablet runs on the Android 2.2 Froyo operating system and gives competition to various other budget tablets which have been launched recently in the India market.

Recently, the company also launched its 3G Wi-Fi pocket router, Beetel 3G supreme. This device, can be used to connect to a mobile phone carrier for Internet access.

There are several other tablets that are available in the market such as the Wespro ePad, C2K tablet, Acer Iconia Tab and many others, but Magiq's impressive specs and budget price really carves out its niche in the market.

The tablet has been one of the highly anticipated budget tablet of this year and promises to bring Indian consumers portability along with affordability.

Magiq poses stiff competition to the Reliance 3G Tab. Manufactured by the Chinese company ZTE, the 7-inch capacitive touchscreen tablet, powered by Android 2.3 OS was recently launched in India for Rs 12,999. At  389 gm, the tablet is ultra light and packs in a slew of features like the Mobile TV, Voice calling, GPS, video recording and more.
