Research in Motion (RIM) is expected to introduce its latest offering under the line of its popular BlackBerry Curve smartphone series. Dubbed as Blackberry Curve 9360, the device is expected to hit the markets early next month.
BlackBerry Curve 9360 is basically aimed at the consumer market. This new model is expected to pack in some impressive looks that we’re traditionally accustomed to seeing in BlackBerry phones. However, the budget tag signals in use of some cheaper hardware and limited specs.
Currently, all we have are the speculated dates for the launch of this product and some leaked images. The handset is expected to hit the US market first.
We hope it will trickle down to India thereafter. Stay tuned to get all the updates about the BlackBerry Curve 9360.
BlackBerry recently launched Bold 9900 in India for Rs. 32,500. Based on OS 7, Bold 9900 packs in a 1.2 GHz processor, a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, 4x digital zoom and LED flash and a Qwerty keypad.
Sporting a internal memory of 8 GB which can be extended to 32GB, BlackBerry Bold 9900 is equipped with a high resolution touch screen that gives images of 287 dpi and makes panning and zooming quite effortless.
The device also supports Near Field Communications and comes integrated with popular Blackberry Messenger 6 and a slew of exciting features. The only drawback of the device is its lack of video calling support.
