Samsung Celox leaks, LTE and new keys confirmed

Published on Aug 18, 2011

After storming the market with its competitively-priced touchscreen smartphone models and tablets, Samsung is again in news. Samsung i9210 aka Samsung Celox has been captured by shutterbugs donning the Korean SK Telecom's logo.

For those who don't know, Samsung Celox is being touted as company’s next big launch. The model which is believed to be the successor of the much appreciated and commercially successful Galaxy S II breed has already been making waves with its anticipated power-packed features in market. Interestingly, the news of it sporting the SK Telecom's logo is buying it additional mileage.

Another interesting piece of news about it is the incorporation of 4 capacitive keys under its display. The feature was absent when previous leak did rounds. In fact, the entire layout has been given a revamp. However, the development is definitely a good news for everyone who wasn't happy with the earlier draft. Hope they won't be disappointed this time around.

Previous leaked images and reports carried info that Samsung Celox will have a Dual-core 1.2 Ghz Qualcomm APQ8060 CPU. In addition, it was expected to feature a 4.5-inch SuperAMOLED with WVGA resolution. Rumors of TouchWiz UI 4.0 version being incorporated in it on top of Android 2.3 Gingerbread also did rounds.

The phone will have an 8 MP built-in camera for clicking crystal-clear pics at the back.  Moreover, Samsung Celox is expected to come up with a LTE radio that will help its users download content at unbelievable speeds.

Whatever be the case, Samsung i9210 is surely getting positive purchase. And if everything goes well, it will be another success story for Samsung S II Galaxy series. However, the fact that modern-day market is highly competitive, such unhealthy exposure before launch can also mar its business prospects both in short-run and long-run.
