No need to carry different chargers for different Apple products

Apple Inc. has acquired patent of MagSafe technology. It is speculated that the technology would be included in the iPad3 and its further models. MagSafe is one technology that prevents the Apple laptops from damage by tripping over the chargers’ chord as it is connected to the charging port magnetically. So the chord will pull out of the socket safely without dragging or bringing the laptop down thereby preventing damage to the device. As of now, this technology is used in MacBooks only, but Apple has acquired the patent of MagSafe.
With this you need not carry different chargers for different Apple products. You can charge your devices with one common charger.
The patent war between Apple and its competitors is at its peak and with MagSafe, Apple has scored a point over them in patent war. Also, now Apple has the license to use the MagSafe connector in third-party products.
The patent stated, “In one particular embodiment, the connector may be a power connector such as the MagSafe”.
The MagSafe charger has a light indicator over it; if it is red then it indicates that it is on charge and if it is green it indicates that the charging has completed. We have already reported several rumors about the iPad3 that what all features it may carry along with its launch, but among all those rumors, MagSafe technology is not mentioned anywhere. Now it remains to be seen whether Apple will use a common charger for all devices or continue with the same technology, which they are using today.
Besides, the MagSafe technology, and other rumors of the iPad3, it is also reported that Apple is looking forward to develop one more technology i.e. the inbuilt projector for all iOS operated devices.
