
Samsung maintains suspense over its new launch ahead of Unpacked event

Samsung has revealed that it would host its next unpacked event at IFA in Berlin. According to speculations, either a completely new phone or tablet are expected to be launched at this event.
Samsung has posted a teaser video for an announcement they would make at the IFA in Berlin. The company is trying to create a fan base for its upcoming handset through these means.
Samsung has posted an attractive commercial on You Tube. In the commercial, people walk around with a device that glows. The video also states that the event will take place on 1st September 2011 at Berlin’s IFA. It ends with the tagline – ‘ something big is coming’, indicating that it might be either a tablet or a large-screen smartphone or even a tablet/smartphone hybrid.
This video comes a day after courts lifted the ban on the release of the Samsung Galaxy Tab in EU, furthering speculations that this might even be the new tablet.
A recently leaked roadmap from Samsung shows a device codenamed GT-l9250. This device features a 4.65-inch screen with a 1280x720p resolution. In addition to that, the device sports a 5.29-inch super AMOLED GT-l9220 and is also rumored to be in production. Both of these devices would run on Android 4.0 – Ice cream Sandwich OS.
According to speculations, Samsung is set to release a LTE enabled Galaxy SII. Samsung has set the rumor mill on fire with its upcoming device although it plans to keep us guessing as to what the device really is.
