Luckily, we get some time to see the BlackBerry Curve 9360, during its launch in the UK. The RIM’s new BlackBerry 7-powered smartphone and the fourth so far this year.

This mobile phone is also aimed at mass-market handset users just like its predecessor. It would be in the reach of mid-range handset users like the earlier Curve models, so lets see what BlackBerry brings new into the Curve 9360.

The latest features added to this phone are, its running RIM’s new operating system BlackBerry 7 and includes NFC, which allows you to make transactions for your shopping through your mobile. Also, the device is embedded with massively improved CPU and a high resolution Liquid Graphics display, which seems excellent for a low priced smartphone.

The BlackBerry smartphone is marvelously designed with metallic framework that gives it a solid look. While its sleek and thin in size than its predecessor. After seeing this, we must say we find RIM has done a good job with this device.

It would be better, if the company comes out with right pricing for the BlackBerry Curve 9360, which they have not yet revealed. However, there are speculations that it will be priced like previous Curve models.
The device comes in the measurements of 109 x 60 x 11mm and it weighs just 99 grams. We give Curve 9360 full marks for its ergonomics as it easily adjusts the grip.

Moreover, the device is embedded with a 2.4-inch display that offers 480x360 pixels resolution, it is a good improvement as compare to the  previous Curve models. Anyone can easily find the difference in the display, as the web pages appear better on this screen, also the video looks quite impressive on it.

The Qwerty keyboard remains the same like the previous versions of the Curve. There you find rubbery-plastic kind of keys that are round in shape. It comes with a capable 5-megapixel camera for excellent quality images and videos, which comes equipped with flash.

BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) 6 is also present in the Curve 9360 and the company has made it clear that it’s opened up the API to developers. It simply means that third party developers can add new services to the messaging client. One of RIM’s representatives introduced us with a Maps add-on that let us see the position of other BBM users.

At the end we would conclude it by saying, we would appreciate RIM's effort to make the BlackBerry Curve 9360. The device is sleek, stylish, powerful and well designed.
