The launch of iPhone 5 oscillates from September to October
Published on Aug 24, 2011
If the news being published by the Wall Street Journal are an indication, then Apple is gearing up to launch its much-anticipated iPhone 5 in USA in October.
But the news released by the Wall Street Journal contradicts Reuters news which pegs the next-gen iPhone 5 launch in September. It also claims that the Asian suppliers of Apple iPhone are gearing up for the launch of a brand new version of iPhone 4.
So if we go by the Reuters news then the October launch as reported by the Wall Street Journal would be ’later than expected’.
Besides, Apple Inc. is planning to launch budget 8GB iPhone 4, a comparatively cheaper handset for the low-end customers.
This cheaper phone is an upgraded version of the iPhone 4 and it will have a 8GB flash drive in it. This handset is expected to be released along the much-awaited iPhone 5.
It is not known whether both the handsets would be launched together in the Asian markets or separately. Also, China is quite eager to put its hand on the upcoming iPhones. However, if we go by the Reuters report then the upgraded version of iPhone 4 will first come to India.
We hope so too.
