The international mobile phone brand is gearing up for the launch of Xperia neo V. It's company's first smartphone to feature the new software and will support features like a 3D sweep panorama, Google Talk with video chat and better Facebook inside Xperia functionality.
The handset is a successor of the earlier released Xperia neo. The new Xperia neo V is embedded with the latest Android software for smartphones and excellent Sony entertainment experiences, which consists of reality display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine. This new Sony Ericsson smartphone will be available in Asia-Pacific from Q4 this year in some selected markets.
Sony Ericsson is also offering software upgrades in selected markets from October 2011. All Xperia owners will get a notification guiding them to download the software over the air through the mode of 3G or WiFi. Besides, they will also have the option to download it via PC companion, as in some countries over the air upgrade does not support.
Sony Ericsson announces latest attributes as well as functionality for its 2011 Xperia smartphones with a comprehensive software upgrade from October 2011. Those users who owns 2011 Xperia mobile phones will be able to get the benefit with Android 2.3.4 upgrade to Sony Ericsson’s unique Facebook inside Xperia offering and 3D camera features. The upgrade also lets the users to get the full advantage of the Android Gingerbread platform comprising GTalk with video chat.
Sony Ericsson’s unique social experience offered by Facebook inside Xperia is fantastic as it allows Xperia users to like, share and discover on Facebook in more faster, convenient and more intuitive way. The new features are aimed at making entertainment more social by offering consumers the ability to share and discover Apps as well as games with their loved ones via Facebook.
Prasun Kumar, Head of Marketing, Sony Ericsson India said, “with this software upgrade, we are bringing a wealth of new and entertaining experiences to all our 2011 Xperia smartphones, including those already in consumers’ hands today”.
He also added, "Our users will get to enjoy new features from Google and an even richer Facebook integration, as well as the camera functionality from Sony.”
