One of the renowned mobile phone manufacturer, Sony Ericsson has launched two new smartphones in India namely Xperia Ray and Xperia Active. Xperia ray is a sleek and stylish Android smartphone that is creatively designed with a 9.4 mm thick frame. Its aluminium body gives it a solid look, even though the device is light and easy to hold at just 100g.
Ray comes equipped with a 3.3-inch Reality display with Mobile Bravia Engine, which offers great videos watching experience to the users. The new Xperia smartphone embeds a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon S2 processor. The Xperia mobile phone offers an excellent 8.1-megapixel camera with Exmor R for mobile HD video feature. The gadget also sports a front camera and integrated touch keys.
The new Xperia Ray runs Android's latest version for smartphones that is Gingerbread 2.3.4, which makes it very fast and responsive. The Sony Ericsson touch screen smartphone includes a strong battery that renders up to 7 hours of talk-time.
Ray also offers some fantastic entertainment features like games, video player with up to 6 hours and 45 minutes of play back and a music player with xLOUD attribute, which can play tracks for up to 36 hours.
Xperia Ray comes equipped with internal memory of 300MB, which can be enhanced up to 32GB. In addition it also comes preloaded with an 8GB memory card. The drop-dead marvelous mobile phone will be available in two different colour options that are Orange / White and Orange / Black.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray is expected to be rolled out soon in the coming months for a price range of Rs. 20,000.
