Create a new Nokia tune and win $10,000

Think you can create a ringtone for Nokia? The finnish giant is looking for you. Nokia in collaboration with AudioDraft has introduced a contest, in which participants  have to create a new ringtone for Nokia. The winning ringtone will be added to some of the Nokia's 2012 product portfolio and the winner will be rewarded a grand prize of $10,000 (Rs. 4,61,379 approx). 

The winner's composition will also be played on 100 million mobile phones. Besides, the new Nokia tune will also be available for download from the Ovi Store.

To enter the contest, go to source link. If it assists, the Finnish mobile manufacturer says it is looking for "fresh, expressive, original, creative yet distinctively a Nokia Tune." Besides, if you don't get the grand prize, don't loose the hope as you might still get one of the five runner-up prizes of $1,000 (Rs. 46,115 approx.).

We hope, this is a nice try by Nokia to attract people with such an innovative idea at the time when their market share is shrinking. Some of the upcoming Nokia mobile phones Nokia 700 Zeta, Nokia 600 Cindy and Nokia 500 Fate are also expected to do wonders for the company and help in improving its market share globally.
