If you were planning to buy the recently launched Motorola Xoom but the high price tag was stopping you from doing so, then here is a good news.
Motorola India has cut down prices of Motorola Xoom. For the 10-inch tablet featuring the Android 3.1 Honeycomb OS (Operating System), the new price range will start at Rs. 29, 990. However, for pocketing the 3G version of the same Motorola tablet buyers will have to shell out Rs. 35, 590. Earlier, the same Wi-Fi and 3G versions costed buyers Rs. 32, 990 and Rs. 39, 990 respectively.
The move to slash down prices comes across as a well-thought decision since the arch-rival of the brand in the same market, Samsung, is selling its latest model - Galaxy Tab 750 - for Rs. 34, 999. Interestingly, the move has turned out to be a blessing in disguise for buyers who until now were not able to buy one for themselves owing to high pricing of the same. Although majority of market experts have applauded the move but they are still skeptical of the fact if the price revision of Motorola Xoom is enough to incite buyers.
For those who don't know, Motorola Xoom features a 5-mega pixel snapper at the back side and 2-mega pixel on the front to facilitate the feature of video calling. With 1 GB of RAM and 1 Ghz dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, Motorola Xoom functions at a lightning fast speed much to the delight of user.
