iPhone 5 up for grabs from October?

iPhone 5 has been creating waves ever since the launch of its predecessor – the iPhone 4. The rumors surrounding its release date have been oscillating between October to December 2011. 

Adding to the existing rumors, BGR recently reported that Bestbuy would be offering the phone for pre-orders this October.

While Bestbuy.com and Bestbuy stores would be accepting pre-orders for the phone in the first week of October, Thisismynext is expecting an “Apple fixture installation” on the 21st of the same month. The report adds leverage to rumors surrounding an October release for the iPhone 5.

On the other hand, Bloomberg has stated that Deutsche Telekom has offered customers with the option to reserve the next iPhone whenever it is released. It would offer express coupons to people who opt for the service, although it has not revealed any dates about the impending release as yet.

It would be interesting to see how many people opt to reserve a phone about which nothing as yet has been confirmed - be its looks, features, or even its price.

The elusive and coveted iPhone 5 has already created a lot of hype on the net. Apple is known to keep its carrier and partners guessing right up till the D-day.

Rumors about the iPhone 5 have been persistently surfacing on the net and it is a hot topic among the Apple fans.
