Since, we've heard about the Samsung Galaxy Note, we had a feeling that it would be a hit on the benchmark scene. Hence we weren't surprised to hear that the device performed extremely well. Greek site TechBlog installed Quadrant Standard on one of the demo devices at IFA 2011 and came out with a benchmark score of 3,624.
Engadget's review for Samsung Galaxy SII powered by 1.2GHz processor produced a benchmark of 3,396, which clearly means that Samsung's Note surpassed its predecessor.
Besides, the newly announced Samsung Galaxy Note is likely to top the lists in pricing as well. Sammyhub.com reports that the smartphone is expected to be released in Finland by end of this year for around €799 (Rs. 51,700 approx.).
The Android 2.3.5 running Samsung Galaxy Note is beautifully designed with a mammoth 5.3-inches display screen. Supporting a 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, the powerful Samsung smartphone includes a dual-core 1.4GHz processor and a 1GB RAM for faster performance. Note is expected to be released in 16GB as well as 32GB internal memory variants.
The device comes with a 8-megapixel rear camera and an another front facing 2-megapixel camera suitable for video calling. The Samsung Galaxy Note comes along with a stylus or S Pen for an smooth working experience.
