Vodafone Facebook phone: What you need to know

Vodafone in collaboration with Facebook has launches it first Facebook phone in India. Priced at just Rs. 4,590, the handset sports a 2.4 QVGA display and a 2-megapixel camera with flash. It comes with smooth navigation with optical key and a descent user experience.

The most appealing feature of this handset is that it has a dedicated Facebook button at the bottom row of the keypad. On the homescreen also you will get the "Facebook" button to stay updated on you FB account. You can even call your friends who are there in the Facebook friend list, as it has a feature which integrates local contacts and Facebook contacts in one application. 

Through the Facebook button you can instantly upload pictures with a single press. Also, you can visit profiles of your friends and check the news feed in a very convenient way. You are notified about your latest notifications in about every 20 minutes. This time can be adjusted according to your preference.

The Facebook phone unlike other phones within similar price range does not come with a 3G-connectivity, however according to the company the EDGE network is good enough in India to operate Facebook.
