Chip manufacturing company Nvidia’s CEO recently commented that Microsoft’s Windows 8 platform will support Windows Phone 7 based applications, which have been designed for mobile operating system.
According to a post on Cnet, the CEO Chief Executive Jen-Hsun Huang also said that the brand will be making around half of its revenue from the processors developed for mobile gadgets.
He states “we're the only person actively on the dance floor with Qualcomm. If you don't have a mobile strategy, you're in deep turf. If you're not in mobile processors now, you're seven years too late."
According to Huang, Nvidia’s Tegra processors were already working on around half of Android smartphones as well as around 70 per cent of the tablets.
Nvidia, which is known for its high performance graphic cards believes that the mobile processor business will grow ten times by 2015 and reach new heights of $20 billion.
The company expects a growth of upto 75 per cent in the graphic card business, which will go to $7 billion by 2015.
